The Best Disney World Dining Recommendations for 2023

Last week, we shared an updated (for 2022) post featuring our tips for making successful Disney World dining reservations. Over the years, we have learned many ways to make your trip to Disney World as smooth as possible (spoiler: it takes some planning, some luck, and some flexibility).

This week, we’re sharing an updated list of our favorite dining spots at Disney World (our original list can be found here and we do have some repeats!). We’ve been to Disney World four times and have a few spots we visit on every trip and some spots that have become newer favorites. This past summer, we visited Disney World and had the opportunity to try some new restaurants and revisit old favorites. It was our fourth trip to Disney World in the past decade (check out our adventures staying at the Polynesian Resort and the Contemporary Resort and our adventures at Disney Springs. ) We had previously written about some of our favorite dining spots in this post, but thought we’d share two important updates. 10 Reasons to Love Disney’s Polynesian Resort

This past summer, we visited Disney World in Florida for the 4th time (see some of our previous adventures here). This visit, we stayed at the Polynesian Village Resort and it was one of our favorite resorts- EVER! The Polynesian is one of the original Disney resorts, opening in 1971. The 39 acre South Pacific themed resort includes over 800 rooms across several “Longhouse” buildings (named after Polynesian isles), one and two bedrooms suites (including “Club” Level suites), Disney Vacation Club suites that opened in 2015, almost a dozen dining options, two pool complexes, retail shops, and tons of daily activities and programs.  This week, we’re sharing ten reasons why we love the resort and why it’s a great place for everyone!

In anticipation of Disney Worlds’ reopening in a few weeks, we’re sharing our best tips for using the FastPass+ system:

We’ve been to Disney World in Orlando, Florida three times and absolutely love it! It is truly the one of the happiest places on Earth. The company does a wonderful job in making the parks clean, friendly, and easy to navigate. I shared some of our tips in previous posts on Planning a Trip, Dining Recommendations, the Contemporary Resort, and Disney Springs.

This week, I’d like to share the best ways to maximize the perks of the Fast Pass+ program. Fast Passes allow guests to reserve a specific time to access many of the attractions at all four parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom) and therefore, bypass about 90% of the lines and wait time.

I know many people who are saddened by their recently canceled trips to DisneyWorld or DisneyLand. I can only imagine the level of disappointment and frustration. I never thought I would be a “Disney person” but we’ve visited three times with our children and it truly is a magical place.
